1. Who we are
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to the website and app available at faff.app and any related services (together, the “Service”).
The Service is operated by Tread Ahead Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
2. What we do
FAFF is a platform that helps drivers:
- compare prices from participating tyre fitters and garages;
- view ratings and reviews; and
- book tyre fitting appointments.
We do not provide tyre fitting services ourselves. All fitting work is carried out by third-party garages and fitters (“Fitters”).
3. Your relationship with us and with Fitters
When you make a booking through FAFF:
- you enter into a contract directly with the relevant Fitter; and
- we act only as an intermediary to facilitate the booking.
We are not responsible for:
- the quality or safety of any work performed by a Fitter;
- any advice given by a Fitter; or
- any loss or damage arising from the Fitter’s acts or omissions.
Your statutory rights against the Fitter are not affected.
4. Eligibility and your account
To use the Service you must:
- be at least 18 years old;
- have the legal capacity to enter into a contract; and
- provide accurate and complete information.
You are responsible for keeping your account details and password confidential and for all activity occurring under your account.
We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms or misused the Service.
5. Bookings, prices and payment
Prices shown on FAFF are provided by Fitters and may change at any time. We try to keep information accurate but we cannot guarantee that every price or description is error-free.
When you place a booking:
- you will receive a confirmation (on-screen, by email or in the app); and
- the Fitter may contact you to confirm details, request further information or rearrange the appointment where necessary.
Where payment is taken through FAFF, this is processed on our behalf by third-party payment providers. We do not store your full card details.
Any cancellation, rescheduling or refund policies will be displayed during booking or in your confirmation. These may vary by Fitter.
6. Your responsibilities
You agree that you will:
- provide accurate information about your vehicle, tyres and contact details;
- attend the booked appointment on time; and
- ensure the vehicle is legal to work on (for example, properly insured and roadworthy).
You are responsible for any additional costs arising from incorrect information you provide (for example, the wrong tyre size).
7. Reviews and user content
You may be able to leave reviews or other content on the Service. You must ensure that any content you submit is:
- honest and based on your own experience;
- not defamatory, offensive or unlawful; and
- does not infringe anyone else’s rights (including copyright and privacy).
We may remove or edit content that we reasonably consider to breach these requirements.
By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display and reproduce that content in connection with the Service.
8. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems;
- scrape, copy or reverse-engineer any part of the Service; or
- use the Service in a way that could damage, disable or overburden our infrastructure.
We may monitor use of the Service to prevent misuse.
9. Intellectual property
All intellectual property rights in the Service (including the FAFF name and logo, website design, text and graphics) belong to us or our licensors.
You may use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use only. You must not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works based on the Service without our prior written consent.
10. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
- any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
Subject to that:
- we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the acts or omissions of Fitters;
- we are not liable for any loss of profits, loss of business, or indirect or consequential loss; and
- our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or in connection with the Service will not exceed £1 or, if higher, the total fees you have paid to us in the 12 months before the claim.
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
11. Changes, suspension and termination
We may:
- modify or update the Service from time to time; and
- suspend or terminate access for maintenance, security or legal reasons.
We may update these Terms occasionally. If we make significant changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute arising out of them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, although you may also have rights to bring claims in your local jurisdiction under consumer protection law.
